Dr Tennakoon Online Paediatric Clinic is making some changes. Dr Tennakoon will continue to provide bulk billing consulting to existing and new patients Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Dr Tennakoon is introducing an additional fee paying session available on Saturdays. Credit card details will be required to secure appointment and full payment required at completion of consult when the relevant Medicare item and fee will be applied. Please ensure you have credit card details ready at the end of consultation. A receipt will be issued for you to claim the Medicare rebate.
Medicare benefits will not be payable for any consultation undertaken without a valid GP referral. Please ensure your referral is valid prior to booking or having a follow-up appointment. Obtain a new referral from your GP if your prior referral is over 12 months old or you have changed your GP. If unsure please email us at info@onlinepaediatricclinic.au
Note for both bulk billing and fee-paying patients. Dr Tennakoon reports and scripts will not be made available If Bulk bill patient consents are not returned via email or fees are unpaid at time of consultation.
Dr Janaka Online Paediatric Clinic would like to advise that private billing appointments (with out-of-pocket expenses) are available within 2-4 weeks. We currently have a waiting list for bulk-billed appointments over six months. The private billing appointments are offered on first to come, first-serve basis. Please note that bulk billing appointments will remain bulk billed as families want our services.

Payment Policy – Private Billing Clinic
A secure link with your appointment details will be sent to confirm the booking. To secure the booking please provide your card details (Visa/Mastercard) using the link provided. The link will expire within 90 minutes. If the link expires prior to you securing the boking by confirming card details the appointment will automatically be cancelled.
Payment will be processed after consultation usually within 24 to 48 hours of completed consultation. Please ensure you have sufficient funds in the account Maximum of $480 to cover the cost of the consultation. Once payment has been confirmed a receipt will be emailed with which you can claim the Medicare Benefit.
